Services & Scheduling

Do you detail RVs, campers, or motorhomes?
🚫 No, we do not currently offer detailing services for RVs, campers, or motorhomes.

Do you work on boats?
🚫 No, boat detailing is not part of our service offerings.

Do you apply ceramic coatings?
✅ Yes! We offer premium ceramic coatings with protection options lasting 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, and 5 years. These coatings deliver long-lasting protection and a brilliant, high-gloss finish.

Do I need to make an appointment?
📅 Yes, appointments are required. We are typically booked 2 to 4 weeks in advance, so we recommend scheduling early.

How long does a detail take?
⏱️ It depends on the service. Most detail packages take between 3–6 hours.
🕒 Ceramic coatings or paint correction services may require 1 to 2 days to complete.


Drop-Off & Vehicle Prep

Do you have an after-hours key drop box?
✅ Yes! We offer a secure drop box for after-hours vehicle drop-off.

Do I need to remove the floor mats?
🧼 No, you do not need to remove them—floor mats are part of our detail process.

What personal items should I remove?
🧳 Please remove all personal belongings from your vehicle before your appointment. This includes items from the center console, under the seats, door pockets, and trunk or cargo area.

Examples of personal items include wallets, phones, loose change, paperwork, trash, old receipts, and anything else you wouldn’t want touched or possibly damaged during the cleaning process. Removing these items helps protect your belongings and allows us to clean your vehicle thoroughly and efficiently.

This also saves time and helps you avoid any additional charges.
🚼 Please note: Child seats must be removed and reinstalled by you. For safety and liability reasons, our team does not handle child seats.

🔒 You may leave items in the glove box.

Can I wait while my vehicle is being detailed?
💺 We do not have a dedicated customer waiting area at this time. Most customers choose to drop off their vehicle and return when the service is complete.
📶 If you absolutely need to wait, we do have a few chairs and free Wi-Fi available for your convenience.

Do your gift cards expire?
🎁 Nope! Our gift cards never expire and can be used toward any service.

Are you insured?
✅ Yes, Cowboy Auto Detailing is fully insured for your peace of mind.

Do you offer mobile detailing?
🚫 No, all detailing is performed at our shop in Laramie: But we can pickup your vehicle and deliver it back to you for a small $25 fee.

Do you clean engine bays?
🛠️ Yes! Engine bay detailing is available as an add-on. Be sure to request it when scheduling.

Do you remove pet hair or heavy stains?
🐾 Yes, but additional charges may apply depending on severity. Let us know in advance for an accurate quote.

What forms of payment do you accept?
💳 We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.
